Join us as we build an army of strength to rid the world of an international killer that knows no borders and sees no color, race, religion, age or socioeconomic demographic. It is a global issue in need of support from a worldwide network. The Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHSF) raises funds and awareness for cancer centers around the world through music-related events and promotions.

Worldwide, cancer causes more deaths than AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined. 1 in every 8 deaths is due to cancer.

A great cause. I've spent a portion of my career trying to get new cancer treatments to market. It's hard work and very expensive. Anything that brings an uplifting message and $$$ to the cause deserves all the support it can get.

This is a great cause/foundation and I am urging everyone I know to join. We all must help those who are suffering from any form of cancer and need treatment.

On a side note, I would like to take this opportunity to give a cheer to my darling friend Angela who works with children who have cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other dibilitating diseases through her job at Kids Kicking Cancer. I received results from a biopsy that was done a week ago. I received great results, and I am happy to say that I am cancer free. While my results came back fine, that makes me even more commited to fighting cancer and to assis LoveHopeStrength b/c I really believe in this organization. If my results had came out the other way, I would want to know someone is out there fighting for me and trying to bring about awareness and change.

I am commited to giving my time to LoveHopeStrength and other to assist those with cancer. I would love to see the day when nobody has to worry about cancer ever again... I know worrying about it has been such a big stress in my life over the last few weeks. I thank my Lord that I am ok. I am keeping all those who have cancer in my prayers. As I study medicine, I do it with you in mind...

Posted on the Duke Basketball Report "I love a good documentary. If you have the opportunity, try to catch Everest Rocks. I saw it last night on a new HD channel (Time Warner) called Palladia. It's about a group that did a 14-day trek thru the Himalayas to raise awareness for the need for a cancer hospital in Kathmandu. It's affiliated with the Love Hope Strength Foundation. Not only was it a moving documentary (most trekkers either survived cancer or had family/friends that succumbed to the disease) but it was amazingly entertaining. Several of the trekkers are 80's UK rockers like Mike Peters (The Alarm), Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Cy Curnin (The Fixx), Nick Harper and others. They perform acoustically throughout. I highly recommend you check this out. It's a well worth an 1.5 hours. Wished it had been 3 hours."
