The second Republican 2024 presidential primary debate will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

The candidates participating in the debate include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.), former Vice President Mike Pence, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Sen. Bob Menendez refuses to resign over bribery indictment

Sen. Menendez has said he will not resign in light of an indictment on bribery charges. He has, however, resigned from his post as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
