The American people today. Had nothing to do with history. We were not alive back then we are living today. We are all One people American people we all belong to America. Today. We are not responsible for what our government did many years ago. We were not involved in it. We are here today we are a great country, for every nationality for every color for every religion, there are so many mixed marriages today than ever before. Black and white people get married, Indians and people from other countries get married. They are making children , we are all part of each other. Our constitution is to protect everyone. There is only one God one creator, and you have the right to worship him and the way that you choose.. The people that Joe Biden is putting into power, are not for the freedom of America they want to take it all away. Put more restrictions on your life. And your choices. Our schools are not teaching our kids any history. Public schools in America that are run by our government are not good schools to put your kids in. They are more concerned about sexual , and prejudice that’s what they’re teaching in the schools now. It doesn’t matter what color you are. It doesn’t matter what nationality you are. It doesn’t matter what your sexual preference is. It’s all your own business. You do not want your government in control of your life every thing about your life. The government is supposed to be taking care of the needs of the people and spending our money in the right way and not for what these politicians want for their own special needs. And the people that go to Washington to get money from them. Politicians, be very careful, we have too many of them in Washington with their own agenda. Instead of taking care of the states that they represent they are destroying our country. When people can go in and rob stores and nothing is done. What does that tell you is happening to your country. They are taking the laws to protect you away. They are not protecting the American people. They are protecting whatever they get their money from. When there are groups of people who can threaten our government. And the people of America. That’s when you have to watch out and that is happening today.

We need to acknowledge the fact that the native americans were here before us. We took so much of their land away and placed them on land that was of no use to us. We also removed them from this land if there was any value such as mining for minerals, coal, and any other value that we wanted. We also need to recognize the missing women and look for them like we do for the whites.

Who did the injuns take this land from or did the spaceship just drop them off and wave buy buy. We came here because we were being treated like slaves by the royality of Europe. Anybody that feels that bad about something that happened that long ago can give the injuns your land and you can go back to where ever you came from. I did not do it and I think your stupidity is showing every time you say I am to blame, but go ahead and keep trying.

Of note, there were over 2400 tribes at one time in the areas now known as the continental United states. A few over 500 are the ones that survive and are known. The others are known, but difficult to document as no members survive to talk to us.

More ignorance of full and factual history which seeks only to demonize white skin and remove white peoples claim to all their contribitions to prosperity and advancement. Thanksgiving was about the pilgrims who came here under the order to use a system where everyone got 1 equal share, which is communism, and it resulted in a lack of motivation and starvation. There was one tribe of native Americans who welcomed the pilgrims and fed them sharing food with them, and saved them from starvation. That's the only rule Native Americans played in Thanksgiving. The pilgrims them gave up on the model their dutch sponsers told them to live on and decided to change it to every man having their own land and working on their own to produce for their family, which is what we now call capitalism. This see more motivation to feed one's family, more production and the starvation stopped. White people are being demonized and ruined of not only their right to exist and the fact they are of a real, valid culture and race, but they are also being systematically demonized and removed from every holiday from the same world they build, and being given no claim to all the many advancements to science, culture, history, art, medicine, and social justice they have invented. So if you want to make another new Holiday to celebrate Native Americans do so, you don't have to butcher the real historical meaning of Thanksgiving. When you celebrate native Americans, don't forget to celebrate the fact many salughtered each other, took slaves, and left elderly women to die alone in the mountains. Not all tribes were alike.....

This is another failure of Our "Experts". Indian Tribes were never "Nations" Like Afghanistan, and other areas that never formed a collective Nation Decaling with Tribes as Nations is t he cause of Much of Our World's Woes now, and for the last few centuries. European nations Used Indiqan Tribes against Our Fledgeling Democrat Republic Before we formed, and long after. Congress must insist Courts, and Our State Department decal differently with loosely organized Tribes, and Functioning Nations. "Nations that are not fully functioning must be treated as Tribe.

I sick of tired of Woke Education and how the poor Native Americans were taken advantage of. I ask that we put an end to this s#$t story forever. These Native Americans are whiney sore losers who battled with Europeans and scalped us and raped our woman and ultimately losses. I demand a bill be introduced to dissolve the United States of America and resettle us in our lands of DNA reports. My Family is Norwegian and My Wife is South American Indian(Peru). We will go to Norway. I ask that the United State pay us to move and will will give up our citizenship. I asked that Black lives matter members get a million us dollars and be repatriated to Africa with no chance to come back to the Native American lands that were stolen. Lmao for the poorly Democratic educated it is called war and expansionist. Oh but wait if we dissolved the United States of America and left it for the whiney Native Americans would they live in a great Native nation of peace or would expansionist come and conquer them? I believe Russia and China would decimate them and divide it for Natural Resources. You Democrats make me sick with your way of thinking and not thinking about anything but what these Democratic Morons feed you with Propaganda.

I knew there were many more tribes but over 500...wow. I am and always will be angry at our settlers coming over here and stealing their lands. Forced to have only tiny pockets of land. White man brought disease to the tribes. If they can never declare war why is it that we have done so? Why is it that it's okay for batshit crazy nutjobs to basically declare war on people who respect the land and the Constitution? Why is that? The white man is not superior and this is why our country is in the shitter in the first place.

The info. was good and informative. However, it would have been helpful if some census data had been included, such as how many NA live on reservations, what's the poverty rate for NA in general and possibly even by state where NA reservations exist. Some info. re. lifespan of NAs compared to lifespan of non-NAs.

I missed the point. What is it that tribes cannot do? Kind of a dumb question, isn't it? It begs for a stupid answer like "Whatever the @( they want if it's legal or they don't get caught." I'm not sure about the video. The correct audience for it seems limited to those with biological lineage no matter how limited. It makes it seem like people who make the PowWow* rounds like some of cousins have done for years, seem uninvited. Which is false. I am reminded of the drunken guys who just wear “Kiss Me I’m Irish” buttons on St. Patrick’s Day as opposed to people who are deeply attracted to Irish and Celtic song, dance, culture, symbolism and spiritual beliefs even though they were not born Irish. Likewise, there are folks who deeply appreciate native American culture. Some, like one of my cousins, probably know more about some tribes' customs, culture and history than those simply born "American Indian." * A modern pow wow is a specific type of event for Native American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize, and honor their cultures. Pow wows may be private or public. There is generally a dancing competition, with many types of traditional dances, often with significant prize money awarded. Pow wows vary in length from a one-day event, to major pow wows called for a special occasion which can be up to one week long.

Thank you for the video. There are over 570 indigenous tribes that are recognized by the United States government. Indigenous peoples are not the same. Their history is varied and ongoing. Many tribes had extensive trading and trade routes. The Iroquois nation had a matriarchal democracy that helped our European forefathers design our own.

It is great that through the treaties of yesteryear that the native Indians have still a portion of the lands to claim as their own. Native Indians have been very patriotic with their loyalty to America. They have fought in every war we have got ourselves in and did it with distinction. An example of this was that the Japanese seemed to be able to decipher our codes so the Indians code talkers were enlisted and could talk in voice over the radio and the Japanese never broke the code as the language was never written down it was just learned by kids.

There is actually 5 civilized tribes recognized by the US government. Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek (Muscogee), and Seminole. I am a registered Native American and support Thanksgiving, sports names like Indians, Braves, Warriors etc. Poll native Americans not any other race about what sports teams should be called or Boycotting Thanksgiving, which I oppose.

Sorry, but this is not in my face relevant. Overdose deaths, soaring illegals crossing our unprotected borders, and and the out of control spending in Washington do strike a cord with me. Where are your priorities?
