China’s military tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in August.

The test reportedly involved a hypersonic glide vehicle that was launched on a Long March rocket into low-orbit, circumnavigated the globe, and came within a few dozen miles of hitting its target. The Chinese government denied that it tested a hypersonic missile and said it was a spacecraft, although it didn’t publicly disclose the August 24th launch 

Hypersonic missiles fly at speeds of at least Mach 5, similar to intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM). What makes hypersonics a particularly challenging threat is that unlike ICBMs ― which have a fixed range and don’t maneuver in flight ― hypersonics can be highly maneuverable in flight, fly at a lower trajectory in the atmosphere, and don’t face the same range constraints. 

Research on offensive hypersonic weapons in the U.S. has been undertaken to varying degrees for more than a decade, and the pace has picked up in the last few years amid advances made by Russia and China.

Culling Wolves

The U.S. Department of Agriculture revealed that they killed eight wolf pups in Idaho who were a part of The Timberline Wolf Pack, a group of wolves adopted by a local Boise high school in 2003. 

Idaho’s Republican lawmakers passed a law that aims to kill 90% of the state’s wolves. Under the law, people are allowed to bait wolves into snares, aerially gun them down, and mow them down with vehicles. 

Idaho conservation groups wrote a letter to the Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, asking to “immediately suspend the killing of wolf pups on all public lands by the USDA federal agents”. The letter adds:

“There is nothing biologically sound or socially acceptable about killing wolf pups on federal lands, especially when wolves are under significant eradication pressure.”

    Let’s face some real facts, Trump did nothing for four years! He did not understand technical items from the internet to weapons! Both Russians and Chinese hack their way through our secrets and used that information that the American taxpayers payed for !

    Questions that need to be answered. How did the Chinese manage to produce and test such a missile without our government knowing about it? Why did the Obama-Biden administration cancel our program to build the same type of missile? Just where are our intelligence services? Once again we see that this administration is only worried about proclaiming throughout the world what a racist nation we are. How we need to defund the police, bow down and listen to the government. Get used to shortages and high prices and inflation because we have been pampered too long.

    Dear Representatives, When President Donald Trump put sanctions on China trading, tremendous problems for the everyday American people have happened of course, as he planned. He left us totally unprepared to compete with all that China supplies America with, chips for the world, cars, phones, computers, etc. is just simply one supply everyone is now completely effected by, wonder if this was his plan to help screw the little people like me? However, we still permit the Chinese to invest in Real Estate, businesses especially farms, all kinds of American enterprises all over the country, In every State, was the plan to help them take over America with his help of a smoke screen as he always does? Charades? When will we wake up?

    For political points Biden sends an over-the-horizon strike to destroy Isis-K terrorists. It's said they killed two (I'm sure it was 20 or maybe 200) high profile Isis-K members and no, repeat no, civilian casualties. Hooray for Joe, Hooray for Joe. What? Oh really. Ten Civilian casualties? No! That's just right wing misinformation. Condolence payments being sent to the families of the victims? That's Russian misinformation! The Isis-K perps we're high profile in the sense that they weighed 400 lbs. a piece. Any collateral damage would be shielded by all the blasted blubber. Hooray for Papa Joe, Hooray for Papa Joe! Who's the terrorist now? Let's go Brandon.

    This is clearly been going on for sometime. The problems with this type of report is that we don’t know what our government is doing. It’s quite likely we have similar a weapon or something wholly different that would neutralize hypersonic missiles. It’s anybody’s guess. I believe that these kind of news items are put into the public to keep them stirred up and anxious.
