A wall is not going to stop anybody from illegal entry into our country, the root of the issue lays in our foreign policies, answering the question “what makes people immigrate from their countries?” And act on it not by giving money but by actually doing something constructive. And there is of course the immigration laws reform, for those who are following the legal path it’s disappointing seeing a proposed path for illegals who ha broken the law in the first place have a shorter path to citizenship

I heard a really interesting story yesterday on people that cross the border by going over the wall which takes all of six minutes. How many billions of dollars were spent to be able to cross the stupid ass thing in six minutes. But what would you expect any differently from a loser like trump.

Excuse me but I have to vent. Three House Democrats and one Democratic senator are now blocking a proposal to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. Medicare is such a big purchaser of drugs that it has the bargaining leverage to cut drug prices for everyone — if allowed to do so. This would save at least $450 billion over the next 10 years and significantly lower prescription drug prices. But four Democrats are standing in the way. Before I get to why they’re doing this, let me identify them. In the House: Scott Peters (whose district includes San Diego), Kurt Schrader (Oregon’s central coast), and Kathleen Rice (central and southern Nassau County on Long Island). And in the Senate: Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona). Okay, so why are these four Democrats blocking this measure? Not because this policy is unpopular with the pubic. To the contrary, 88 percent of voters favor allowing the federal government to negotiate lower drug prices, including 77 percent of Republicans. In fact, at least 90 percent of these four lawmakers’ own constituents support allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. Get this: The idea is so popular that both Kathleen Rice and Kyrsten Sinema actively campaigned on it. And not because the pharmaceutical industry needs extra money in order to continue to generate new drugs. Taxpayers already fund much of its basic research through the National Institutes of Health. Also bear in mind that a big portion of the costs of bringing a drug to market goes into advertising and marketing — which shouldn’t even be allowed for prescription drugs (and isn’t in most other rich countries, and wasn’t in the US until Big Pharma lobbied for the law to change). Oh, and pharmaceutical firms have been overflowing with so much cash they’ve been buying back their own shares of stock. In other words, allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices should be a no-brainer. So what gives? The question should be who gives. Follow the money. From 2019 to 2020, Kyrsten Sinema received over $120,000 in Big Pharma contributions, even though she’s not up for re-election until 2024. Throughout her political career, she’s taken over half a million dollars from Pharma PACs and executives. Just before Sinema officially came out publicly against allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices, a group bankrolled by Big Pharma began running TV and digital ads and sending mailers praising her for “fighting as an independent voice.” If you think this was a coincidence, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Scott Peters, meanwhile, happens to be the House’s single biggest recipient of Big Pharma campaign cash in the 2022 election cycle so far. Since being elected in 2012, Peters has socked away over $860,000 from Big Pharma. The day after his letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi opposing using Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices was published in May 2021, Peters began receiving thousands of donations from executives at pharmaceutical companies and the industry’s powerful lobbying group. Another coincidence? P-l-e-a-s-e. Kurt Schrader has raked in nearly $615,000 from Big Pharma since taking office in 2008. This election cycle he’s already got $24,500 from Pharma PACS, the second most of any industry donating to him. One of former his top aides left his office earlier this year and is now lobbying for Big Pharma. According to ethics disclosures, the former aide’s lobbying efforts focus on
guess what? Drug pricing. The third House Democrat, Kathleen Rice, has received over $84,000 from Big Pharma. The grand total of Big Pharma cash going to these four lawmakers: over $2 million. When you consider the billions that Big Pharma will rake in for keeping drug prices high, this is a small potatoes for them. You might even call it a great investment. But it’s a huge cost for the rest of us. The measure isn’t being blocked solely because these four Democrats oppose it. No Republican members of Congress are in support. But it does seem odd that Democrats would stand in the way of this sort of reform, rebuffing their own president and party — and rejecting the overwhelming preference of voters, including their own constituents — to tank a policy that they themselves campaigned on. I mean, what’s the Democratic Party for if it won’t reduce drug prices for average people? Why were these four Democrats elected in the first place? Thank you so much, TheDarkSide! â€ïžđŸ˜Šâ€ïžđŸ˜Š I hope all of us but, especially, their CONSTITUENTS, are informed of this absolutely, incredibly, horrendous activity. Our Constitution NEVER Intended that our elected officials be bought and paid for. How OUR Supreme Court Justices held that bribery was permissible is beyond me! This conduct must STOP because the American people will NEVER COME BEFORE those who are willing to accept hundreds of thousands of dollars for their vote! I believe that those accepting these bribes must be removed from office by their State officials or Congress. Since our Congress will not likely budge on this, then the States MUST. They need to be impeached, repay these bribes, or be put in jail - perhaps all of these things. These people are NOT representing the people who elected them and should be IMMEDIATELY IMPEACHED AND BANNED FROM EVER HOLDING A PUBLIC OFFICE AGAIN! This situation, alone, gives the likes of Humpy, and the rest of them, the means to, Illegally, gain wins in elections. IT MUST STOP! Citizens United has never been, NOR EVER WILL BE, constitutional. It was a smoke screen the Repugnants used for personal gain. NOTHING MORE! Shut it down IMMEDIATELY! GET RID OF THE ILLEGALLY APPOINTED JUSTICES, OR ADD TO THE SUPREME COURT, AS WELL. IF WE DO NOT STOP THIS, AMERICA IS DOOMED! MARK MY WORDS! MANY OF OUR JUSTICES ARE, PERHAPS, RECEIVING REWARDS FOR THEIR VOTES, TOO! We have become so corrupted by dark money, we are a shadow of what we once were! The dark money is destroying us! If you cannot see that, you are DAMN FOOLS! And how about we get a published list of each and ever dollar EVERY SINGLE CONGRESSMAN OR WOMAN HAS RECEIVED SO FAR. WE NEED THIS LIST PUBLISHED BEFORE THE 2022 ELECTION, PLEASE! SOMEONE PLEASE DO IT!

“The wall” was only a Republican wet dream anyway and wouldn’t do Jack shit to address the border. Let’s not forget that the wall was conceived by a godless traitor named Donald Trump. The most incompetent president in history. The wall is and was always the original big lie!

Comrade dear leader Beijing Biden has cancelled the wall with 1,750,000 illegal aliens crossing the border with another 178,000 that got away. None of the above have been quarantine or testing just released. Now we have another 75,000 Haitians in caravans heading to our southern border. The news won’t tell you about it or show them on TV. Here are the Coronavirus figures since January 20th at noontime to present 266 days. Cases 19,953,850 new cases last 3 days 341,657. Deaths 444,964 new deaths last 3 days 5,919. Yet he leaves the border wide open with no quarantine or testing and cancels an already paid for wall.

Let’s build a wall around people that feel that they’re better than everyone then else we can separate their insanity from the rest of the general population. As they have proven to the rest of America they are the people that are dangerous in this country they are the people that rioted in the capital and they spread disease and death throughout the country by not getting vaccinated or wearing masks.. It’s hard to imagine people like Marissa can’t realize for themselves that they too are immigrants everybody in America is an immigrant except for the American Indians from which we stole this land. It’s also hard to believe that people could be led by such an idiot as Donald Trump who is quite literally ugly to the bone. Trump would have nothing to do with any of the people that are his ardent followers. Trump was born into hundreds of millions of dollars in fact his daddy gave him $400 million when he was five years old. He wouldn’t even speak to these people if he didn’t have to use them to feed his own craziness. Anyone who has read anything about trumps life would know he was friendless because he was such a jerk to people. So he looks for adoration in people he would probably most likely consider to be garbage but to him they use is there a praise and their adoration of him as a semi God which is exactly how Trump sees himself. If it all wasn’t so pathetic and dangerous it would be laughable. Everything Trump has touched falls to ruined. Example: currently his hotel in Washington DC which is having to unload because it’s a lost hundreds of millions of dollars. That’s what trumps properties do they go bankrupt and he sticks everybody else with the bill. Like he’s sticking America with his bill of sickness right now. Like he stuck all the Vietnam veterans by dodging the draft, like he said he can grab any woman’s pussy because he’s famous, yeah that’s your guy, that’s your idiot.

Hey Causes: You already posted these topics. Here is a few suggestions of topics to post: 1: Gas prices hit a seven year high; 2: Biden's approval ratings tank; 3: E-mails surface about Pappa Biden and Baby Biden sharing accounts; 4: Harris does video with kids about space. Her interpersonal skills are so bad that child actors had to be hired to participate. I could go on and on. Why is it that when Trump was President, you posted every little thing he said and did, but with Biden nothing.

Stupid idea in 2021 to build a wall We have technology now We can hire more people too And the first one that can tell me how a border wall keeps out airplanes, boats, submarines-yes they have them, and ladders, can waste my money on an idiotic wall Only reason trump wanted a wall was to bill the taxpayers for his cronies and he needed a spot to put his name on it I hope someone removed that ridiculous plaque with his golden signature Ted Cruz and Lyndsay Graham are so concerned-let them stand watch Problem solved

It’s estimated that $2 billion is wasted on metal sitting there instead of being used to build the wall.Again this just shows how government is wasteful in spending taxpayer money. Why do we even continue to pay taxes?

I agree with @BR regarding Causes’ limited list of curated news stories, but not that it address every FOXNews / Brietbart exaggeration and fabrication. Still recommend a Table of Contents.
