About

We are marching on Washington DC in an effort create a safe and humane environment for humans and pets.  Our goal is to end BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) and offer solutions to ending what has become a national epidemic, dog fighting. To "ban" or "abolish" a breed is far from an intelligent solution but rather a quick fix to what is an obvious social issue.  Now, more than ever before, broken young people all over this country are committing heinous acts against these innocent beings. Time and time again, studies prove the common denominator in prisoners from all walks of life who have committed an array of crimes is animal abuse. Sociopathic behavior toward animals is directly related to humans and currently the breed being victimized by this abuse more than any other breed on earth, are Pit Bull Terriers.  Loving, gentle, strong, compassionate, smart dogs who are being shot full of steroids, mutilated, fed gun powder among other things and forced to fight.  The abuse of animals is not only an ethical treatment of animals issue but again, an obvious reflection of the breakdown of our society which is trying to be ignored by law makers.  The truth can no longer be ignored.  We have an epidemic of massive proportions on our hands and we have the means to fix it.   We share this planet with dogs. Whether you own or even like dogs, they are part of our society.  We need them and rely on them every single day.  Seeing eye dogs, Emotional Support dogs, PTSD dogs, Hearing Impaired dogs, Seizure Alert dogs, Drug Search, Search and Rescue, Service dogs, Military dog and Therapy dogs (ALL of which Pit Bull Terriers are a part of)...to name a few.  The seriousness of what is being done to this breed can no longer be ignored and we must be their voice.  The government must recognize that discrimination enshrined in law is wrong and the time for change is now.  #wewillmarch
