Mission: Mental Health America is dedicated to promoting mental health, preventing mental disorders and achieving victory over mental and substance use conditions through advocacy, education, research and service.

1. Mental Health America is celebrating 100 years of advocacy, public education, and support for Americans with mental health conditions.

2. Our programs educate the public, encourage reform, and promote the use of effective local and regional prevention and recovery programs.

3. Mental Health America’s Advocacy Network is a powerful voice for change that is made up of thousands of individuals nationwide.

4. It is essential that all aspects of mental health systems be reflective of the diversity of the communities that they serve.
