Stop Animal Killing Contests In America

Animal killing contests are a disgusting, inhumane pastime. The so-called 'hunters' use automated coyote calls, and even raise orphaned coyote pups (from slaughtered mothers), to kill in their their next contest. They use high-powered rifles with scopes to shoot the unsuspecting coyotes that respond to the automated calls. Some prairie dog hunters actually set up tables with their rifles on tripods--hundreds of yards away--to prevent spooking unsuspecting prairie dogs. Many 'hunters' purposefully gut-shoot coyotes (shoot them in the abdomen), so that they die long, horrible, and painful deaths. Killing Contests are inhumane and reprehensible, and must stop NOW. One of the worst things about these contests, is that the organizers are almost wholly small gun shops in search of publicity, so if we identify them, we're doing exactly what they want us to do! This presents us with a problem: the vast majority of citizens across the globe are offended by this practice, while the entire population that hates us, is the contest-holder's ideal target audience. Any actions we take against the perpetrators is like free advertising! SO, WHAT CAN WE DO? 1. SIGN the Petition to Sally Jewell asking for an Executive Order permanently banning Animal Killing Contests on US Federal Lands 2. Call and Write your State Representative, State Senator and Governor. Let them know Killing Contests must stop in your state. While Bold Visions believes this is the least effective form of protest, support of banishment calls need to far exceed the support of continuation calls.

Fire The Officer Responsible For Shooting Max

I have been an animal rights activist for years. Point blank, they mean more to than humans. It is humans hurting these animals. I believe that with all the voices I can help to gather, that we can give these animals a chance at a new life, some of them have never known before. Too many animals are abused and neglected. They suffer punishment at their owners hands. It is time for all this to stop. If you have ever loved an animal, then that is your first start. Look into your heart, and most of all, look into the eyes of an animal. Without us fighting for them, some of them really have no one else.

Impose Maximum Sentence On Shooter(S) Of Ryker And Phylo

Why would someone shoot two dogs? "The Mastiff-cross dogs were likely shot by hunters, who may have mistaken them for wolves" I think it's just as important to ask why this would have been acceptable had the hunters shot actual wolves instead of mistakenly shooting dogs? It is legal in BC. I think it's just as important to bring this up as it is to ask the (really not very bright) "hunters" be punished. Wolves suffer just as (and also far more) gruesome, brutal deaths all over BC (and elsewhere) and the cowards (aka hunters and trappers) who enjoy torturing and killing wolves and other creatures don't even have to get a permit before or notify anyone after. If the animals had been actual wolves, what these guys did would have been 100% legal. Think about how outraged you are that the dogs suffered and died, why is it okay for wolves to suffer and be killed like this. How is that acceptable in 2013?? It's just as disgusting. These guys are mentally disturbed.
