Update #8 ·

Great advice for others...

... and how are we acting at our own doorstep?

Liz Slooten, professor at Otago University, dolphin researcher, scientist and conservationist says: "I always thought it was contradictory (and ironic!) that the NZ government protests against Japanese whaling. While at the same time failing to protect our own endangered dolphins (Hector's and Maui dolphins) from being killed in fishing nets. It now turns out that this is "Standard Operating Procedure" for our government. Our government specializes in telling other people they should stop damaging the environment, while continuing to damage the environment ourselves."
