Save Elephants From Needless Suffering

The earth is on the brink of the sixth mass extinction of its time, largely thanks to the environmental damage caused by humans. Climate change and massive damage to Earth’s animals and ecosystems have been a large debate lately, but the reports of this mass extinction truly demonstrate the gravity of the situation at hand.

A recent study that predicted the mass extinction blamed deforestation, poaching, overfishing and global warming for the unnatural turn of earthly events.

“We have the potential for making massive change… and the bottom line is that we can’t be the generation responsible for wiping out three-fourths of life forms on the Earth,” Anthony Barnosky, a professor of biology at Berkeley, said.

Scientists allege that we as humans must make major changes and quickly or we may cause irreversible damage to the planet we call home. Now more than ever, urge officials to enact a dramatic reform towards preventing further environmental damage that is contributing to Earth’s impending sixth mass extinction.
