9th June 2015 (Day 6) - Indian Military Combing Operation in Chandel, Manipur

Early morning, the Indian Army in revenge engaged two separate groups of insurgents along the Indo-Myanmar border at two locations, along the Nagaland and Manipur borders.

India in revenge used Air Power in ongoing Manipur Military Operation and destroyed two NSCN(K) camps and killing 20 insurgents by the Indian Army along the India-Myanmar border today.

However, according to NDTV, around 50 people might have died in the latest strike and it indicates that 30 people would be innocent civilians killed by Indian Armed Forces using air power.

Brief of the Surgical Air Strike‬ Operation involving an IAF Mi-17 helicopter carrying commando team from 21 Para (Special Forces) unit:

1) NSCN-K insurgents hid in two camps in Indo-Myanmar border. 

2) Indian army claims to found out that more attacks were planned from Myanmar camps and sent drones to locate camps. 

3) One camp was east of Nagaland and another east of Manipur, 150 KM south. Both well inside Myanmar. 

4) Once the drones located the camps, Indian army top leadership sought a border crossing permission from PMO India. And PMO gave the permission immediately. 

5) Planes carrying Indian Special Forces crossed into Myanmar after informing govt. No joint op with Myanmar army. All special commandos dropped strategically. 

6) In revenge, Indian Special Forces killed 20 NSCN-K insurgents in 2 camps inside Myanmar. According to NDTV, around 50 people might have died in the latest strike and it indicates that 30 people would be innocent civilians killed by Indian Armed Forces using air power.
