An update about the campaign to

Save the tiger

Update #2 ·

Still saving tigers!

Dad has been a little remiss in keeping the "save the tiger" site updated, although Lilia has been keeping her efforts going with the help of her friends through fundraising (e.g., garage sales) and awareness (e.g., stopping people on the street as she sees fit...) and more.

The first round of fundraising helped raise over $1,200 for the World Wildlife Fund, and Lilia and her friends want to keep it going!  Since last year, Lilia has been hard at work researching tigers and began writing her own book, and we'll be sharing more about that in the coming weeks.

She's also become friends with the zookeeper at our local zoo that is responsible for the tiger exhibit, and she is learning a ton about the tiger conservation efforts that the Woodland Park Zoo team is involved in.  Very inspirational, especially to a young heart that has a deep passion!  More on this later...

Lastly, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all the supporters of this campaign for helping make a difference in not only the conservation of tigers, but also in supporting the dreams of a little girl and helping her at a young age realize that you can make a difference if you put your mind and energy into it.  Sincerely, thank you.
