A close up of Baby E's cleft, hard palate only. Puppies borns with this condition require feeding tubes and such to survive.... Many have corrective surgery at around 6 months IF they live that long but his is so severe the success of surgery is a risk in itself. So instead we manage and he is watched closely and must be attended at all times when eating. He is worth all of the hard work it took and still takes to keep him healthy.
