Red Sea Jazz Festival boycott breakers "bring peace" as Israel commits genocide

While Israel escalated its genocidal tactics, simply by bombing residential buildings instead of private homes, displacing hundreds of people in several minutes with 5 bombs, David Douglas, Diane Schuur, accompanied by Ulysses Owens Jr. and the Newport Jazz Festival, waxed lyrical about how "Jazz brings peace" and does "diplomacy", and- most ironically in these genocidal times- how "Jazz prevails".

Kellylee Evans, Fred Hersch and Lee Konitz were also on stage at the Israel government sponsored Red Sea Jazz Festival, as Israel committed its atrocities in one of the most densely populated areas, but opted not to speak about their music as a cover for Israel's war crimes against the Palestinian people.

Today, Antoine Roney, Dayna Stephens and Lonnie Smith will also go on stage, and on Wednesday Leny Andrade will join the "peace bringing efforts".

Over 14,000 conscientious people around the world have already signed the call to boycott the Red Sea Jazz Festival https://www.causes.com/actions/1757955-dont-let-th... Please join us. SIGN and SHARE the petition.
