We cannot express the extent to which we are grateful for the support of those who have donated to our cause. Without the love and support of our friends, family, and peers, IFCA would not be able to do the work that it does. Thank you for believing in us, and thank you for believing in us so much that you are willing to put yourself out there to help us reach our goal. Because of your donations, we have now met our goal of $750 - far faster than I could have ever dreamed. Our alumni team members in both US and Japan would like to say thank you. If you have donated to our cause, or if you have helped spread the word about our campaign, please send an email to [email protected] with your contact information so that we can express our gratitude.

While we are forever grateful for your help in raising this $750, it is no where near the cost of our trip to Japan. We are going to keep our campaign going until the end of August (just four days before we leave for Japan). Please help us spread the word and continue to raise funds. Your donations will be going toward costs of airfare, WORLD conference fees, translation costs, and general travel costs such as meals and lodging.

While speaking at one of IFCA's events, our Japanese alumni team member, Rei, said this: “People call the Japanese culture family-oriented - the people gather together when one is having a problem within the family and they help each other. But for those people who don’t have a family, it is extremely difficult". We want to use Rei's story, along with all of our alumni team members, to show the world that our community can be the family that foster youth don't get to grow up with. We can be the support and we can be the voices they need to be successful in life. We ARE their family - and that includes YOU!
