12.000 stand against Israel sponsored Red Sea Jazz Festival! Join us!

Within 3 days, another thousand of you signed our petition calling on this season's participating Jazz musicians- Antoine Roney, Fred Hersch, Diane Schuur, Leny Andrade, Lonnie Smith, Hotel Khaleeji, Kellylee Evans, Los Hacheros, Lee Konitz and Dayna Stephens- to cancel their participation in the Red Sea Jazz Festival.

We are now 12.000 strong and rising!

Not only are we growing at an average rate of a thousand signatures every few days, but the 2 biggest scheduled acts for this season, Terence Blanchard and Marcus Strickland, have withdrawn from the festival.

The festival could have been a festival to celebrate the free spirit of Jazz music, and this beautiful tradition of oppressed minorities. Instead, it is a government event of propaganda, which uses Jazz music as a tool for whitewashing military occupation, apartheid and oppression of the Palestinian people.

Now, more than ever, as Palestinians in the Gaza strip are still pulling the bodies of their children out of the rubble, and as West Bankers are being executed by Israel's trigger happy army in increasing numbers. let's amplify their voice! Please SIGN and SHARE our petition.
