Update #10 ·

Overturn Citizens United Act gets Senate vote tomorrow - Please Call!

After passing the Assembly on Monday, SB 1272, the Overturn Citizens United Act, is having one last vote in the Senate tomorrow!  If it passes, it goes straight to the Governor's desk for his signature.

Please call your Senator now!  Our tool looks up who to call, and tells you what to say.

SB 1272 would let Californians demand on this November's ballot that Congress pass a U.S. Constitutional amendment that says once and for all that corporations aren't people, and money isn't speech!

It has already passed the Senate once, but because it was amended in the Assembly, the Senate has to vote on it one last time to "concur" with the amendments.

It only takes a minute to call.  Our tool makes it easy by looking up your Senator's number and telling you what to say, depending on their record. You can leave a message if nobody is there.

Call your Senator now!

Thank you for standing with the California Clean Money Action Fund. Stay tuned for more ways you can help pass SB 1272, and other ways to address the problem of money in politics, like SB 52, the California DISCLOSE Act.

Together, we will create a democracy that is truly of, by, and for the people.
