Update #4 ·

PETA'S Inaccurate & Misleading Campaign about Tony the Tiger

PETA has recently put up this article with a picture that has nothing to do with Tony while portraying he will continue to languish in a cage as a roadside attraction being a danger to the public . https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy;jsessionid=5E2112C046336D5689A39CAA060AC55A.app337a?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=5417&autologin=true&utm_campaign=Tony+Tiger+National&utm_source=PETA+E-Mail&utm_medium=Alert

The photo in PETA'S article is not Tony the Truck Stop Tiger, it is a photo that can be found under the "Zoos" section, on a website that sells copyrighted photo's to any individual or organization for use.

We the Petitioners of Louisiana and citizens all over the world ask Governor Jindal to visit Tony and find the truth on how he really lives as a healthy, well cared for tiger that has never been a danger to the public and ask that he sign Senate Bill 250 which would be in the best interest for Tony allowing him to stay home where he has been safe for 14 yrs.

You can Respectfully Call Governor Jindal at 225-342-7015 or 866-366-1121

We the Petitioners respectfully ask you to place the physical and psychological well - being of Tony the Tiger first and do not help set the precedence that private property/pets are up for grabs to the biggest bully with the most money while the animals life/best interest or the persons life mean nothing.

sadly and shamefully the monies spent and donated toward this campaign against an animal not in need of rescue could have made a difference for thousands of animals that are actually abused and suffering, animals dying in shelters every day.

Campaign won!
