Thank you for contacting me in support of H.R. 2962, the Save America’s Pollinators Act. I appreciate hearing your thoughts on this issue and welcome the opportunity to respond.
As you know, this bill would require the EPA to suspend the use of certain insecticides linked to declining honey bee populations. Honey bees play a critical role in our ecosystem, pollinating crops across the country including apples, peaches, and onions. Improving access to affordable, nutritious food is one of my priorities in Congress and I will continue to work with my colleagues to ensure the safety of our food supply. Rest assured, I will keep your support in mind should the House vote on this legislation.
