BREAKING: LAUSD Fined For Concealing Child Abuse Pics
For the last month, we've shared how officials at LAUSD -- the second largest school district in the nation with more than 600,000 students -- destroyed evidence of thousands of child abuse cases to conceal how they harbored known child predators for decades.
Today, a judge in Los Angeles fined LAUSD $6,000 for "discovery abuse": http://s-im.co/1ptg5MR. Previously, attorneys representing LAUSD had said they had no additional photos of child abuse related to the Miramonte child abuse case, only to admit months later that they, indeed, had a disk full of photos from the case, which were submitted to the court on May 4.
LAUSD insists its priority is to protect the children under its care, yet at every turn, they are protecting their own interest first. Enough is enough: help spread the word about our petition to investigate LAUSD to determine if the civil rights of children and parents were violated when they destroyed more than 2,000 child abuse records: http://s-im.co/1up8BLW.
