Update #28 ·

Update: HUGE step forward in Aderonke's case

Fantastic news! A High Court Judge has agreed that Aderonke's case for asylum has legitimate merit, and her case will proceed to Judicial Review.

This is a positive sign, and we will keep you posted as soon as we know more. This is a promising development, but the fight is far from over. We won't stop until Aderonke and other LGBT asylum-seekers are safe.

In two weeks, a UK Home Office independent investigator will be meeting with Aderonke to hear her story of maltreatment of LGBT asylum-seekers.

Aderonke has agreed to bring to her meeting the signatures of all 250K+ people worldwide calling on the UK Home Office to halt deportations until the investigations are concluded and reforms are enacted.

Let's get to 500K signatures for Aderonke to deliver at her meeting: invite your friends to sign today

Thank you for all the support you have given to the #AsylumforAderonke campaign. Together we have got this far and together we will continue to support Aderonke until she is granted asylum!
