The Deadliest Dolphin and Whale Killer—No, it’s not a Whaler

(WARNING: The attached video is not for the faint-hearted.)

It kills dolphins and whales silently.

It is more lethal than all whalers and whale show operators put together.

It injures whales and dolphins, starves them, and if they stay alive, drowns them in their own breath.

Each year, it pollutes the most pristine waters into a murky waste and kills an estimated one million birds and 100,000 marine animals.

Some countries fight it. Others tolerate it. While many simply ignore…

Ocean pollution.

But ocean pollution knows no boundaries. It affects every living thing on Earth. Our health. Our jobs and economy. The weather. It impacts the survival of the planet we live on.

Ocean pollution is a world of destructive power on its own.

Know what we are up against here:

I can tell you about an estimated 14 billion pounds of garbage dumped into our oceans every year that pose a threat to birds, marine animals and eventually, humans.

I can tell you about the devastating effect of plastics entering the diets of dolphins and whales that either mistake them for food or ingest them accidentally. Plastic cannot be digested so it stays in the stomach where it blocks the digestive tract, preventing the animals from eating real food. So dolphins and whales die of starvation and gastric rupture.

I can tell you about the heartrending story of a 4.5 ton sperm whale that washed ashore in Southern Spain found to have ingested over 17 kilograms of greenhouse supplies discarded into the Mediterranean Sea—30 square meters of plastic canvas, plastic rope and two flower pots among others.

But not today.

Right now, I just want you to watch the attached video of a whale dying after swallowing plastic bags.

It’s distressing, I know, my apologies for showing it, but you’ll understand what we are all up against.

And you’ll understand what our cause, Whale Call Project, is all about.

Then I’ll tell you what we can do together to stop ocean pollution and save dolphins and whales. How you can help make it happen. The OApp. The rewards you will get.

Here's where you can help make a difference in the world…
