Other than rabbit farms, South Africa does not have fur farms. South African retailers source their fur from overseas fur farms such as these. There are many investigations showing that animals suffer on all fur farms.
This "fur bearing" animal will be anally electrocuted and then skinned solely for his/her fur. The skin will be used for a fashion item that nobody needs. The body is then discarded with thousands of other bodies. The suffering inflicted on animals for human vanity is immoral!

How you can help
In 2015 Sandton City Centre (Jhb.) opened a luxury section called "Diamond Walk", where several shops sell items containing animal fur. This pledge will help show fur retailers that South Africans put compassion over cruelty. We want to be "Proudly South African".
