Academic Program Review

You all may have read in the news about the 55 program suspensions that have been recommended by the University of Akron's Provost as a result of Academic Program Review. One of the results of this protracted and flawed process was that Family and Consumer Sciences Education and the Family and Consumer Sciences graduate program were among the 55 slated for closure. This, with only very limited opportunities to state our case. Please speak up for us. It matters to us, but it matters to our region. Without FCS, I worry about program closures and a lack of qualified FCS professionals to meet our community's needs.

Your signatures and testimonials will help us make our case. Again. Thank you.
