Update #1 ·

Keep Up the Momentum! Call Senators Warner, Whitehouse, Rubio and Tester Today!

In less than 24 hours, more than a 1,800 of you signed Paula’s petition calling on Congress to bring the Military Justice Improvement Act (MJIA) to a vote! And momentum continues to build. Just yesterday, Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) became the 55th Senator to voice his support for the MJIA.

This common sense, bipartisan legislation would remove the decision to prosecute rape and sexual assault cases from a conflicted and often-biased chain of command, and put it into the hands of independent prosecutors.

If you live in the states below, we need your help! The Military Justice Improvement Act (MJIA) is coming up for a vote in the next two weeks. These Senators could make all the difference!

Call these Senators and urge them not to support a filibuster! For the following Senators, when staff answers tell them: "My name is ____ and I support the Military Justice Improvement Act. Please tell the Senator to give victims and families a vote and please do not filibuster."
