Kraft Foods pulls support for "date grape"

In a statement, Kraft Foods Group, which owns Kool-Aid, said they do not support the name of this drink:

“We at Kraft are appalled. Kool-Aid does not support or condone this drink, and finds its name to be highly insensitive to a serious issue. This blatant misuse of the Kool-Aid trademark is offensive to so many, including us, and we are making it our top priority to address the situation ASAP.

Rather than ignore or, worse, mock protestors (ahemmm Daiquiri Factory) when they took to Kool-Aid's Facebook page earlier this month, Kraft responded to each concerned individual, promising to take immediate action. Check out what one mom and her daughters did to thank Kraft!

We love seeing companies pulling support from bad businesses; who else could this movement ask to withdraw their support from the Daiquiri Factory? The Better Business Bureau, the Mayor of Spokane....?
