Defend animals and the environment: stop the TPP!

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is an international free trade agreement being negotiated by the US and 11 other countries in secret. Environmentalists are calling it a “The Polluters' Powergrab” because it would empower corporations to directly sue government over laws and policies that corporations allege reduce their profits.

WATCH THIS VIDEO to learn more about TPP and its potentially devastating impacts on animals and the environment then SIGN the petition telling Congress to stop TPP in its tracks.

Here's a sneak preview: "legislation designed to address climate change, curb fossil, fuel expansion, and protect critical ecosystems and wildlife habitat like the Malaysian rainforest home of the orangutan -- they all could all be subject to attack by corporations as a result of TPP."

In early January Congress introduced Fast Track legislation intended to enable President Obama to send TPP to be voted on in Congress under a set of rules that force a vote and prohibit any amendments to the agreement, rendering Congress powerless to modify TPP's most egregiously anti-animal, anti-environment, anti-food safety provisions.

With the short time we have remaining, we need your help to
mobilize animal and environmental advocates throughout the nation to sign the petition urging their members of Congress to vote no on Fast Track!
