I am not ashamed to say these handsome boys were purchased at a pet store in a local mall. Two malls actually, but the same chain. I was unaware of where they came from. They had pedigree papers so they must be well bred and healthy, right? They were vet checked at the store. Puppy mills are inhumane breeding facilities which often produce puppies with physical ailments and behavioral problems due to the intense, unsanitary confinement and overbreeding practices endemic to these facilities.
