As a Veteran I contracted diabetes by being exposed to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. Many of my peers died from Agent Orange. Monsanto is now seeking approval to use components of Agent Orange in the next generation of GMO crops. I strongly suspect that my allergy to food may be due to a sensitivity to GMO foods but since they aren't labeled I have no way to rule them in or out. Labeling GMO foods is just as important to my diabetic health as knowing the amount of carbohydrates in a serving. If GMO foods are healthy then why is the industry so vehemently against labeling? What are those against labeling afraid of?

Aren't these the same folks who said DDT was safe! As Veterans haven't we suffered enough already. We more than anybody have the right to know what's in our food.
