A year ago, when I was struggling with my life purpose, I came across a segment in a documentary called, 'Half the Sky.' It was about children as young as 2 being sold into sex slavery and the people who were risking their lives to save them from rape and beatings. No child deserves that.
On my travels to poverty stricken countries there was a consistent theme: Talent is universal, opportunity is not. As an artist and humanitarian I believe it is my mission to make opportunity universal; to give children abroad the same favourable circumstances that I had as a child in North America.
I found my purpose.
