I must say I was saddened by your handling of the situation surrounding Phil Robertson. Having spent almost 35 years of my life serving this country as a member of the armed forces so we can preserve the right to speak our minds. Y our decision insults me, my service and what this country stands for. As such I can no longer aid you in your endeavors and am going to do what those who expressed their objections to Phil’s right to speak his mind and faith should have done, I am switching you off.
When you have withdrawn your ill conceived punishment for being an American and speaking of what he believes then I will turn you back on. Let’s see how this all plays out when the dust settles. I think you will find there are substantially more people like me than the vocal minority you placated with your misguided decision.
I suspect the rest of his family feels the same way. What in the world were you thinking?
