Just like many of you out there, I have a close friend that was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery to remove it, but it resurfaced in just 4 months. The cancer was in the very early stages and her Dr. recommended the use of cannabis to slow the cancerous cells from forming even though it is currently illegal in PA. Not only did the cancer slow, but it totally reversed and she is completely cancer free to this day. She continues to smoke cannabis even though she risks criminal charges. Should she be considered a criminal because she chose her health over the law?
I unfortunately have many stories of unfortunate conditions were friends and family must chose whether to obey the law and suffer, or commit a victimless crime and risk criminal charges in order to live a happy pain free normal life.
