</p><p>Throughout history,&nbsp;books now considered thought-provoking literature were originally controversial and oftentimes banned (books like The Scarlett Letter, To Kill a Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn, and more). We've come to see that books don’t corrupt us - they guide us through the complexities of life, arm us with information, and help us develop our own moral compasses. If schools don't value and encourage intellectual curiosity in their students, who will?&nbsp;<br></p><p><p><br></p></p><p></p><p></p>
