When the tsunami happened in December of 2004, our son felt the need to leave college in order to somehow be of help. Hands On formed itself out of that event, and our son was fortunate to be one of the pioneer volunteers, joining others from around the world who were not able to continue life as usual in the face of that event. He has now volunteered in at least 4 other Hands On projects in various parts of the world, and his experiences have changed his life. These experiences have also determined his career as a documentary photographer, which is allowing him to share his passion for humanitarian aid to our fellow human beings with whom we share this planet. Thank you, Hands On, for all you are doing to spread brotherhood throughout the world.
