Congress is Listening
Eighteen Congressional Representatives and one Senator have joined the call for action. Led by Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI), a bipartisan group of House Representatives have called on the House Ways and Means Committee to hold oversight hearings, request a Government Accountability Office investigation, and call for a Department of Health and Human Services convening. At the same time, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) asked leaders of the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of State, and Homeland Security to review of relevant laws, regulation, and requirements.
