I am a recent home owner, and new to gardening. Aside from the beauty that gardens bring to my home, I started a garden to help bees, butterflies and other insects that are in need of some help. I purchased several plants from Home Depot this summer without knowing their nectar plants are treated with these toxins. Not only have I wasted my money since now I have to tear them all out of my garden, I have caused harm instead of helping.
