Chad founded Living Lands & Waters in 1998 at the age of 23, with a mission to clean up the Mississippi. Since that time, he and his organization have inspired and recruited more than 70,000 volunteers, removed more than 7 million pounds of trash from 23 rivers, and grown into the only “industrial strength” river clean-up organization of its kind. Chad’s vision, charisma, non-stop work ethic, accomplishments, and natural leadership make him a true hero of our planet.
We at Budweiser are proud to have supported Chad and Living Lands &
Waters since 1999, both financially and with volunteers. We are humbled by the work of Living Lands
& Waters, and know that Chad is truly a deserving American hero.
