I had visited Yosemite and Yellowstone before my NatureBridge program, but I never got to appreciate all the wonderful plants and wildlife around me in the wilderness of a national park during those trips. It was my most recent trip to Yosemite with my schoolmates that was the eye-opener to the beauty of the wilderness. I got to see the green sea of trees, feel the rocks, smell the leaves and cold, fresh air, and listen to the chirps of birds. I can't wait to go hiking again.
