By banning gay and bisexual men from donating blood implies that all other individuals are AIDS free, and as a nurse I know this not to be true. We are all vulnerable if safety precautions are not taken.
Test those that are at risk and allow blood donations for those who wish to do so.
Making generalizations throws us all under the bus.
