Bella Gunnabe Gifted, by Gunner, was tied around, her nose to the stirrup wearing a curb bit, whipped, beaten and terrorized until she flipped over and cracked her head open, profusely bleeding from nose, ears and mouth. Resident "trainer" Mark Arballo continued beating her while she lay writhing in pain, dying. He is currently believed to be in hiding, as criminal charges are being sought. River Valley Ranch in San Diego County is owned by Martha Torkington-Kiss and George Kiss. Both insist this is a common training method.

Help us to make a statement to the public prosecutor of San Diego that this kind of training isn't accepted anymore. Mark Arballo has to face jailtime for training horses like this. His conviction has to be an example for other trainers to stop abuse horses to break their will to accomplish better performance and more money.
