WE ARE ALL -PUPPY DOE!

WE HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE CHANGE FOR THE ANIMALS.

Each year, thousands of animals are victims of some form of animal cruelty, whether it's neglect, forced fighting or abuse. You can help.

Animal protection agencies rely on the public to report cases of animal cruelty in order to act and protect those who can't stand up for themselves.

By staying aware and watching for signs of abuse, which can include open wounds, extreme thinness or pets that are kept tied up outside for long periods of time, and reporting any instances, even anonymously, we can stand up against animal cruelty.

In Puppy Doe's name let's end animal cruelty and do all that is possible to help the animals in our community live happy, healthy lives.

To that end, pledge to:- Learn to recognize animal cruelty.- Report animal cruelty.- Set a good example for others.- Fight for the passage of harsher anti-cruelty laws.

WE ARE ALL PUPPY DOE!

Puppy Doe endured having a wrist, ankle and elbow separated from their joints and a leg bone virtually broken in half from being drawn "over and over and over.

It’s a very intimate form of violence," Smith-Blackmore explained. She had also been stabbed in the eye days before being found, had calloused bone from repeated blows to the head, and the tops of her vertebrae were smashed from her back being beaten - possibly with a board or baseball bat.District Attorney Michael Morrissey said, "It is highly unlikely that this level of sadistic cruelty could be shown to one animal and not be part of a pattern involving other animals or perhaps vulnerable people.
