Update #20 ·

The Fate of Assyrian Villages

Dear cause supporter

Hundreds of Assyrian towns and villages and since the formation of the State of Iraq in 1921 and until our current day have been gradually taken over by Kurds and are now part of the region under the hegemony of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG).

While Kurdish leaders are continuously calling for the inclusion of large areas of Iraq into their region under the pretext that Saddam carried on policies of Demographic change during his reign of terror, they have not returned an inch of land taken from Assyrians by Kurdish warlords and thugs.

We have uploaded to our website a document that lists most of the Assyrian towns and villages that have been "Kurdified".
