I have lost one daughter to breast cancer aged 27, I now have a second daughter also fighting against it! Aged 32! We don't have the BRACA gene but have lots of family member who have also had breast cancer! The geneticist has told us it is 99% likely to be genetic ! But because it an unidentified gene my other daughter cannot get the treatment she requires to help save her from also getting breast cancer!!!!!!

One in three women will have cancer in their lifetime and one in eight will have breast cancer. Screening helps reduce cancer deaths because doctors can catch the disease early. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By helping to screen both yourself and your family, you can help better determine your family's risk for breast cancer, and better prevent it.
