Update #18 ·

To Russia with love... as in we'd love for you to stop the hate!

Several weeks ago I posted info about a new campaign "Empower global citizens to defend and promote human rights." The first action involves a petition directed to the leader of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. This petition addresses the need for legal action to be taken against Russia Pres. Vladimir Putin for violating human rights, specifically LGBTQ rights.

I know...

Petition invites are annoying. There are way too many, and it seems like they accomplish nothing other than to clutter up the Internet.

From personal experience with Causes dot com, I've had two successful campaigns that resulted in the benefit of our LGBTQ community.

This petition directed to the United Nations Human Rights leader has the potential to create legal consequences for Russia Pres. Putin for persecuting the LGBTQ community.

Please take a moment to read, sign, and share: A petition to Navanethem Pillay, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

Thank you!!

This implies heterosexuality is normal, while homosexuality and other sexual and…
