Since the death of our mother, Pauline relies on my wife Collette and myself for her support and care. Since we live in Florida and Pauline is not allowed to leave Ireland, in addition to the emotional toll this injustice is also imposing a lot of financial hardship on our family as we have to employ caregivers in Ireland and my wife has to make the 8,000 mile round trip to Ireland every few weeks to manage Pauline's care and give her some much needed family time. Pauline has vacationed with us numerous times in the past and loves a normal family lifestyle. My family and I are more than willing to give that to Pauline but the Irish Government won't let us live our lives in peace.
