The San Francisco County Transportation Agency (SFCTA) and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), in partnership with RENEW SF, jointly invite you to a community meeting about upcoming street and transportation improvement opportunities for Columbus Avenue.
WHEN: Monday, October 7, 2013, 6:30–7:30 PM; sign-in begins ar 6:15 PM
WHERE: Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center, the Senior Dining Room, 660 Lombard St., between Mason and Powell
Please come for an overview about upcoming improvements that will be implemented by the SFMTA and DPW. This is also an opportunity to learn about additional improvement concepts being considered for the short term (2014–2016), including sidewalk widening, intersection redesign, streetscape enhancements, transit priority treatments and plans included in the SFMTA’s Bicycle Strategy.
These improvement concepts are based on the 2010 Columbus Avenue Neighborhood Transportation Plan adopted by the SFCTA Board. More information is available the Columbus Avenue web page.
At this meeting, we will also be discussing next steps and how you can be involved. Your input for improving the design and vitality of Columbus Avenue is much needed.
