I am deeply concerned about the backslide into a repressive Police State on which the present regime seems intent. As we hurtle in time away from Michail Gorbachev's vision of Perestroika, the descent of personal freedoms ever quickens as if in an effort to blot out our memories of a time when hope flourished in Russia. It is as if the people are being brainwashed and told, ' you have no right to be free'. If you were free , you would not know what to do with it ' - but this is a lie. The arrest of Pussy Riot is one big giveaway'.
