Last week I experienced reliability issues in the opposite direction from usual. The train left 3m early! I was told it was part of an effort to 'make sure we're always running on time'. No apology or sympathy from the guy who locked the platform door as I walked up to it - he said I was expected to know that they were starting to do this, and that if I cared about getting somewhere on time I shouldn't cut the departure time so close.
