Palm oil is very bad for one's health. The only people who profit from this are the plantation owners. We are not only putting the orangutans at risk, but those of human beings as well. Before buying products like cakes, cookies etc. check the ingredients. If they contain palm oil, don't buy them. They are trans fat and contribute to clogged arteries, high cholesterol levels etc. and can provoke heart attacks and strokes!

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is the world's largest certification system for "sustainable" palm oil, but unfortunately, the RSPO's certification is no guarantee of palm oil produced without deforestation or exploitation.
