Barmer oil refinery: HPCL and Raj Gov to sign MoU in Jaipur on March 14

Jaipur: After the air got cleared over the establishment of Barmer Oil refinery the officials of HPCL are all set to meet in Jaipur, where the signing of the memorandum of understating (MoU) will take place on March 14. The pact will be signed on March 14 in presence of Ministry and HPCL officials.

From Wednesday onwards officials of Ministry and HPCL have started arriving to the Pink City. The big wigs like Verappa Moily, Union minister for petroleum and S. Roy Choudhary, chairman of HPCL will also be present while this MoU will take place.

On Wednesday evening Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot will host the dinner for these dignitaries coming from the centre. State MLA's and MP's from different states are expected to join it. On Thursday the refinery deal will take place between the Rajasthan government and HPCL.

The refinery, which will produce around 9 million ton oil, will be set up at state's Barmer district. HPCL will spend Rs. 37, 230 crores in setting up this refinery.
